Have you said I Love You lately?

Friends are a refuge, a comfort, a precious blessing.

I have a life filled with people who mean so very much to me. They teach me important lessons,  are by my side ready to laugh, and tackle events and projects together. They willingly give of their time and their energy. They do not pity me or see me only as the “sick” friend but focus with me on pleasant tasks and thoughts and help me to lead a full and enjoyable life. Friends are beyond a blessing to me.

And.. sometimes I take those precious blessings for granted.

Life is busy and days are full, and we can all forget that the people we love so much may not always be here. Job changes and moves, life events, and tragic losses mean that those in our life today might not be here tomorrow.

Letting someone know that you care doesn’t need to be complicated.

Reaching out with a quick phone call, a text, or mailing a pretty card seems like a little thing, but that small touch can truly mean so much. Choosing to stop and take a moment to connect can go a long way in showing a friend that they are loved and valued.

Have you told a friend “I love you” lately?

Love one another with brotherly affection.

Outdo one another in showing honor.
